Cindy Carroll, MSN, FNP-C, is a compassionate and skilled family nurse practitioner specializing in interventional pain management at West Tennessee Bone and Joint Institute under the leadership of Dr. Eric Homberg.

Serving patients at the Jackson location, Cindy is dedicated to providing high-quality care with a focus on patient advocacy and positive health outcomes.

Cindy earned her master’s degree in nursing with a family nurse practitioner specialty from Chamberlain University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama and her associate degree in nursing from Jackson State Community College.

In addition to her professional expertise, Cindy values quality improvement initiatives and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her dedication to her patients and her passion for advancing health care make her an integral member of the interventional pain management team at West Tennessee Bone and Joint Institute.

Dedicated to keeping you active, the interventional pain management specialists at West Tennessee Bone & Joint Institute offer a comprehensive and individualized approach to minimizing your specific pain symptoms. They are advocates for patients who are desperate for understanding, encouragement and treatment to overcome the physical and mental challenges of chronic pain.

Eric Jon Homberg, M.D., is board certified in anesthesiology with a special interest in interventional pain management. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He continues to pursue additional training in new and innovative procedures to provide patients with additional choices in managing their pain and pursuing a higher quality of life.

Rebecca R. Desso, M.D., is a board-certified interventional pain management physician. She earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She continued to hone her skills through rigorous training during her residency and fellowship at the University of Utah Health Science Center in Salt Lake City. She is dedicated to providing personalized care that addresses each patient’s unique needs.

Brandon Sims, APN, is an experienced advanced practice nurse who specializes in acute care pediatric nursing and interventional pain management. He holds a master’s degree in nursing from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He maintains his advanced credentials with continuing education to offer up-to-date, quality care to patients of all ages.

Courtney Roberson, FNP-C, is a highly skilled family nurse practitioner who brings extensive experience in patient care, having served in diverse health care settings across the region. She holds a master’s degree in nursing with a family nurse practitioner specialty from Union University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) and serves as a medication administration educator for DCS/Camelot. Courtney is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
