West Tennessee Bone and Joint Institute is proud to formally announce and welcome the newest Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team, Daniel J. Smigielski, MD.

Dr. Smigielski, a graduate of USJ, is excited to come back to his hometown to provide orthopedic care to West Tennessee.

After earning his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Dr. Smigielski completed his orthopedic residency at Campbell Clinic. He then completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Andrews Sports Medicine clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, where he continued to hone his skills. He also served as a sports medicine provider on the sidelines during collegiate football games of Samford and Alabama.

Dr. Smigielski’s practice encompasses a broad range of orthopedic services, including arthroscopic surgery, hip preservation, joint reconstruction, and trauma care. He is dedicated to integrating the latest advancements into his practice to ensure the highest standard of care.

When he’s not in the clinic or operating room, Dr. Smigielski enjoys being with his wife and children, fishing, and watching college football.
