Dr. David Long Retires

Dr. David Long, who joined West Tennessee Bone & Joint in 2018, has retired after decades of treating problems of the foot and ankle for patients throughout the region.

He was proud to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care to patients of all ages at our locations in Paris, Martin and Union City.

A fellow of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Dr. Long is also a long-time member of the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association. He is also a fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Long graduated with honors from the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Iowa. He completed his residency at the Orthopedic Institute-Universal Medical Center in Plantation, Florida.

While you will no longer see him in our clinics, you can find him under the Friday night lights of West Tennessee high school football. He enjoys refereeing games and will continue to do so in his retirement.
